How Do I Check the Status of My Class Action Claim?

To check the status of a class action claim you've already filed, contact the settlement administrator directly — not the company you filed against and not SettlementRadar.

Finding Your Settlement Administrator

  1. Find the settlement on SettlementRadar or search for "[Company Name] settlement claims" to find the official claims website
  2. Look for the "Contact Us" page on the claims website — this will list the administrator's phone number, email, and/or mailing address
  3. Have your claim confirmation number ready before you call or email

What to Ask the Administrator

  • "Has my claim been received and logged?"
  • "What is the current status of my claim — pending, approved, or rejected?"
  • "What is the estimated payment date?"
  • "Was any additional documentation requested for my claim?"
  • "What payment method will be used and will I need to update my address?"

When to Follow Up

Contact the administrator if:

  • You haven't received a claim confirmation within 2–3 business days of filing
  • It's been more than 18 months since the filing deadline and you haven't received payment
  • You've moved and need to update your address for check delivery
  • You've changed your email or PayPal address for electronic payment

Checking Status Online

Some settlements offer an online status portal where you can log in with your confirmation number to see your claim status. Look for a "Check Claim Status" link on the official settlement website. Not all settlements offer this — many require you to call or email the administrator.

Important: Payments are distributed in batches after final court approval. If your claim is listed as "approved" but you haven't received payment, you're in the queue — it will arrive when the full distribution runs.
