Meet Mitchell Stempowski, the founder who built this because no one else would
Mitchell Stempowski grew up in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. At 18, straight out of high school, he joined the Michigan Army National Guard — and served until 2022.
Not long after leaving the Guard, he discovered something that changed how he thought about money — and fairness. A class action settlement had been approved against a company he'd bought from. He qualified. He filed. The check arrived.
Then he started looking more carefully. Settlement after settlement, he kept qualifying. He collected thousands of dollars across dozens of claims — from data breaches to misleading product labels to overcharging on services he'd used for years.
"Companies settle and quietly hope nobody files. Most people never know the money exists. I built SettlementRadar to change that."
The more Mitchell looked, the more he found. And the more he realized: the system is designed to pay out as little as possible. Deadlines buried in legal notices. Eligibility criteria written in fine print. Filing portals that require paperwork most people don't have. The result: billions in court-approved funds expire unclaimed every year.
Mitchell built SettlementRadar to level the playing field. Today it's America's most comprehensive daily-updating settlement directory — tracking 650+ active settlements, scoring each one with a proprietary SR Score so you can focus on what's actually worth your time, and offering filing assistance when you want help with the paperwork.

New settlements are added every single day. Deadlines, fund amounts, and eligibility criteria are re-verified within 24 hours of any material change. You always see current data.
SR Score — our proprietary quality ranking
Not all settlements are worth your time. SR Score ranks each one on payout size, proof requirements, deadline urgency, and fund health — so you focus on high-value claims and skip the noise.
Filing assistance — we do the hard part
Filing solo is free. But when the paperwork gets complicated — documentation requirements, multiple forms, tight deadlines — our filing assistance service handles everything for a flat fee.
Free to start — no tricks
Browse every settlement for free. Check eligibility for free. You only pay when you want help filing — and only for the claims you choose. No subscriptions required, no upsell pressure.
Built by Mitchell Stempowski — not a law firm
Not a legal marketing company. Not an ad network dressed as a settlement finder. Mitchell Stempowski built this because he personally collected thousands from class action claims and wanted everyone to be able to do the same.
No one should leave money on the table just because they didn't know
A kid from Saint Clair Shores, Michigan who enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard at 18 and served until 2022 — Mitchell Stempowski built SettlementRadar because he experienced something firsthand that most Americans miss: the courts had already decided money was owed. The company had already paid into a settlement fund. The only thing standing between him and that check was knowing the settlement existed.
That gap — between what's legally owed and what's actually claimed — is enormous. Courts approve billions in settlement funds every year specifically for everyday people: consumers who were overcharged, had their data stolen, or were misled by companies they trusted. Most of that money never gets claimed because no one told them.
SettlementRadar exists to close that gap. America's largest daily-updating settlement directory is built on one idea: if a court decided you're owed money, you should know about it. Claiming it should be simple. And you shouldn't need a lawyer to do it.
