The short version: We collect only what we need to help you find and file settlement claims. We don't sell your data to third parties. You can delete your account and data anytime.
Who We Are
SettlementRadar is a class action settlement aggregator and filing assistance service. We help consumers discover open settlements, check eligibility, and file claims. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Email address — when you subscribe to alerts, create an account, or submit a contact form.
- Name and address — only when you use our filing assistance service, to complete your claim submission.
- State and brand preferences — when you use the settlement matcher or eligibility checker, to personalize results.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never store full card numbers or CVVs.
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referrer. Used for analytics and security.
- Breach data lookups — when you use the Breach Checker, your email is sent to HaveIBeenPwned. We do not store breach query results beyond your session.
How We Use Your Information
- Sending weekly settlement alerts and newsletters (only if you subscribed).
- Completing filing assistance submissions on your behalf.
- Personalizing settlement recommendations based on your state and preferences.
- Processing payments and preventing fraud.
- Improving the site through aggregate analytics.
- Sending transactional emails related to your account or purchases.
Email Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive weekly settlement alerts. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe anytime from your account settings or by emailing settlementradar@agentmail.to.
Transactional emails (purchase confirmations, claim status updates) are sent regardless of newsletter preferences.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Session management — keeping you logged in.
- A/B testing — showing you consistent pricing and UI variants.
- Analytics — Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel for aggregate usage data.
- Preferences — remembering your notification settings and dismissed banners.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features (like staying logged in) may not work without cookies.
Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to provide the service:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — aggregate site analytics. Data is anonymized.
- Meta (Facebook Pixel) — advertising measurement. You can opt out via Meta's privacy settings.
- HaveIBeenPwned — email breach lookups (Breach Checker feature only).
- AgentMail — email delivery infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Retention
- Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Filing assistance records: retained for 3 years for legal and dispute purposes.
- Analytics data: retained in aggregate (anonymized) indefinitely.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Opt out of analytics tracking (via browser settings or ad opt-out tools).

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA rights, contact settlementradar@agentmail.to.
Children's Privacy
SettlementRadar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of SettlementRadar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
