What We Are (and Aren't)
We aggregate public settlement information to help you find settlements you're entitled to. We're a directory — not lawyers, not filing agents.
Effective: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: March 2026
1. We Are Not a Law Firm
SettlementRadar is an informational directory — not a law firm, not a legal services provider, and not a substitute for professional legal advice. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or an attorney-client relationship.
If you have questions about your legal rights, eligibility for a claim, or how to pursue a settlement, consult a licensed attorney.
2. Information Is Sourced From Public Records
All settlement data on SettlementRadar is aggregated from publicly available sources, including:
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filings and press releases
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) enforcement actions
- State attorneys general announcements
- Federal and state court documents and class action databases
- Official settlement administrator websites
We do not create, manufacture, or alter settlement information. We organize and present what is already publicly available.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Settlement details change frequently. Deadlines get extended or shortened. Payout amounts are revised based on claim volume. Settlement websites go offline. Eligibility criteria shift.
While we work to keep our data current and accurate, we cannot guarantee that every settlement listed reflects the most up-to-date status. Always verify information directly on the official settlement website before taking any action.
4. We Operate in Good Faith
SettlementRadar exists to help consumers — not mislead them. We genuinely want you to find and claim money you're owed. Our goal is transparency, not deception.
If you believe any information on our site is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, please contact us immediately at contact@settlementradar.com. We take accuracy seriously and will investigate and correct any errors promptly.
5. Filing Assistance: Document Preparation Only
SettlementRadar's core directory is free to use. You can find settlements and go file directly on the official settlement website at no cost.
We offer optional paid filing assistance as a convenience service — we do the paperwork for you. Filing assistance is a document preparation service, not legal representation. Using our filing assistance does not create an attorney-client relationship. We are not your lawyer, and we do not represent you in any legal proceeding.
This service is never a requirement. You are always free to file on your own, and filing for free on the official site has no impact on your eligibility or payout.
All sales are final. Limited exceptions apply for technical issues preventing service delivery — see our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Settlement Outcomes and Payout Amounts
Settlement outcomes are determined by settlement administrators, not SettlementRadar. Whether your claim is approved, denied, or adjusted is entirely at the discretion of the settlement administrator appointed by the court or regulatory agency overseeing the settlement.
We do not guarantee any specific payout amount. Payout estimates shown on our site are based on publicly available information and historical averages — actual amounts vary significantly depending on the number of valid claims filed, the total settlement fund, and eligibility determinations. Your actual payout may be higher or lower than any estimate displayed.
SettlementRadar has no influence over payout calculations, claim approvals, or fund distributions.
7. Your Responsibility
By using SettlementRadar, you agree that:
- You are responsible for independently verifying your eligibility before filing any claim
- You will confirm current deadlines and requirements on the official settlement website
- You will not file fraudulent claims or misrepresent your eligibility
- You understand that SettlementRadar is an informational tool, not a legal service
8. No Endorsement of Third Parties
Links to official settlement websites, settlement administrators, or government agencies are provided for your convenience. SettlementRadar does not endorse or take responsibility for the content, practices, or accuracy of any third-party websites.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SettlementRadar and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on information found here — including missed filing deadlines, ineligibility determinations, or errors in settlement data.
