As a U.S. military veteran, Mitchell spent years watching corporations get away with harming ordinary Americans — data breaches, hidden fees, defective products — while the legal settlements meant to compensate those people went unclaimed. He founded SettlementRadar in 2025 to change that. Every dollar owed to ordinary people should be easy to find and simple to claim. Corporations pay out billions in class action settlements every year, and most of it sits in escrow while the people who were actually harmed never see a dime.

We pull settlement data directly from PACER, CourtListener, state court filings, and official settlement administrator sites — not from news articles or third-party aggregators.
Every case is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We verify court approval, valid claim forms, and accurate deadlines. No automated pipeline skips this step.
Deadlines change. Courts extend them; administrators post corrections; settlements close early. We monitor every open case daily and update records in real time.
