Alerts & Notifications
Setting up personalized settlement alerts so you never miss a claim you qualify for.
Overview
Settlement alerts notify you by email (and optionally push notification) when new settlements are added that match your interests, or when deadlines are approaching on settlements you've saved.
The goal: you never miss a settlement you qualify for because you didn't know it existed.
Setting up alerts
You can sign up for basic weekly alerts without an account. For personalized, category-filtered alerts, create a free account first.
Go to Alerts
Visit settlementradar.com/alerts.
Choose your categories
Select the settlement categories you want alerts for: Data Breach, Employment, Consumer Products, Financial, and more.
Set payout threshold
Optionally filter to only receive alerts for settlements with estimated payouts above a minimum amount.
Enter your email
Confirm your email address. You'll receive a verification email to activate alerts.
Category filters
Filter alerts to the categories that matter most to you. Options include:
- Data Breach & Privacy
- Employment & Labor
- Financial Services
- Consumer Products
- Healthcare
- Automotive
- Telecom & Tech
- Food & Beverage
- Environmental
- Insurance
- Real Estate
Enable multiple categories if you want broad coverage. You can change these at any time from Alerts settings.
Deadline alerts
In addition to new settlement alerts, you can receive reminders as deadlines approach for settlements you've saved or filed:
- 30-day reminder — plenty of time to gather documents
- 7-day reminder — time to file if you haven't yet
- 24-hour reminder — last call before the deadline closes
These are configured per settlement in the Claim Tracker, or globally in Account → Notifications.
Deadline alerts require you to save or track a settlement first. Enable alerts on the settlement detail page by clicking Track This Settlement.
Managing preferences
Manage all your alert preferences from Alerts or Account → Notifications:
- Update category preferences
- Change email frequency (instant, daily digest, weekly)
- Unsubscribe from specific alert types without turning everything off
- Update your email address for alerts
You can also manage preferences from the unsubscribe link in any alert email.
