Individuals must meet one or more of the following criteria to qualify for an incentive payment: They are a current owner or lessee of a qualifying Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter BlueTEC II diesel vehicle, model years 2009-2016, and have not yet installed the approved emission modification but will install it by Aug. 31, 2026. The eligible vehicle is operable and registered or held by a dealer in the United States or its territories. Individuals who owned or leased certain 2009-2016 Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles may be eligible to claim $2,000 and a free repair from a DOJ settlement.

Who Is Eligible?
