Just got $320 from the Equifax data breach settlement — what actually worked

Finally hit my bank account after almost two years of waiting. I claimed the full alternative cash payment option instead of the "free credit monitoring" because I already had monitoring through my bank. Lesson learned: always check if there's a cash alternative before settling for the default. Anyone else go the cash route?
